Tullamore Town Council freezing commercial rates

Postby The Head Hauncho » Wed Jan 13, 2010 11:25 pm

Good news for business owners and those intending to open a business in Tullamore - the town council has decided not to increase commercial rates for the second year running. This is good news, as businesses sometimes have other things to worry about this past while like falling shoppers' numbers in the town and rents remaining static.

Now, if they could do something to alleviate paid parking in some fashion, like an amnesty period on certain days, this might encourage more people in to the town centre.

Just my two cents worth,
